OCEANWIDE PLAZA GRAFFITI TOWERS BUFFED RIP BLACK

Some of you might know from my previous edition "OCEANWIDE PLAZA BILLION DOLLAR BLUEPRINT" that I had found the actual large blueprints of the Graffiti Towers. I originally set on a mission inside this dilapidated mega structure to possibly find some sort of artifacts most importantly any significant blueprints. Well, 25 stories up and hours of digging through a rotten maze, we found them!! Afterwards I immediately went home and got the precious blueprints drum scanned knowing I was inspired to recreate some art!

A little time has past and now the local headlines are suddenly going crazy over the OCEANWIDE PLAZA GRAFFITI TOWERS are officially being buffed.

Crews began cleaning up the giant graffiti on the abandoned Oceanwide Wide Towers in downtown Los Angeles in late July 2026 following a bankruptcy. Crews are painting and sandblasting the graffiti off the Towers in preparation for the 2028 Olympics.

This inspired me to create this last series "GRAFFITI TOWERS BUFFED RIP". This series are all each original mixed media paintings with the blueprints silkscreen over the buff. This contrast between the bright expressive tags and the lifeless grey buff emerging up from underneath the Towers Blueprint helps demonstrate that conflict between boiling over creative expression and the failures of unchecked predatory capitalism. These pieces of art are markers in time to the historical event that captured the worlds attention from here in LA. My home front. I also included some photos of my adventures there that day.

This is a limited series. Each one is an original hand painted piece with a serigraph of the original bluprints. 

Each one comes with a hand made COA that is created on other original blueprints found in the Towers.
