I've been saving a stack of this rare chrome paper for little painting and printing experiments.
I've been developing a process where I paint on and scrape off while the surface is still wet and drying. I enjoy this process because I end up with individual unique pieces within a larger series. Each piece has it's own character, movement and engery.
These pieces are also not static. Movement and light plays the central role in how you see these pieces. The chrome shifts dramatically as you move around it also reflecting the light back out into the space. At certain points of the day if the sun hits it just right the entire room will light up reflective shards.
Because these pieces are so highly reflective it made it challenging to photograph. These photos were taken in direct sunlight to show the reflective intensity.
